Throughout the year we organise a wide range of events designed to bring together everyone with an interest in voluntary and community action at local, regional and national levels.
Annual conference and agm
Our annual conference and agm is one of the highlights of the year. It is when NAVCA members and other like-minded people get together to celebrate the strength of our movement, share best practice and motivate each other to continue to do great work.

Our next major conference will be in winter 2012 and we'll release details of the event as soon as they are available.
Chief Officers' Residential Event

Every year we also run a residential event for chief officers and senior managers from local support and development organisations.
These summer events are a mixture of networking, policy updates and professional and personal development.
This year the event will take place on 13-14 June at Yarnfield Park in Staffordshire (opens in new window). Find out more about the programme for this event
Events in your area
We recognise that large national events aren't suitable for everyone. That's why we are committed to running as many events around the country as possible.
We are currently running the following:
| Every business matters | Free business planning workshops for the voluntary sector |
| learning 4 LINks | Free events for LINks members |
| Delivering good commissioning and reducing health inequalities | Free learning event for VCS and health and social care commissioners |
NAVCA orientation days
A couple of times a year we organise an orientation, learning and networking event for senior staff in NAVCA member organisations.
We have scheduled the next free event for Wednesday 23 May 2012 at our offices in Sheffield.
Find out more about how these days can help you.
