Local area agreements have
become an increasingly important part of the local picture. They
take up more of our time and are, increasingly, the preferred route
for a wide variety of government initiatives and funding streams -
next year Supporting People will be incorporated into LAAs. This
makes it vitally important that NAVCA is in a position to give
policy-makers a clear indication of how well LAAs are working for
the local third sector.
NAVCA represent the sector on the Communities and Local
Government body that oversees the implementation of LAAs, so we are
able to make sure that your experiences are relayed to the key
policy-makers across government. That is why it is important that
you take a few minutes to fill in our survey and let us know what's
really going on at the sharp end.
