Vodcast: Stuart Etherington, Chief Executive of NCVO

Stuart Etherington
"The sector hasn't experienced economic and political insecurities as bad as this since the 1970s" said NCVO Chief Executive Stuart Etherington, speaking at NAVCA's Whose voice is it anyway? conference yesterday. During a Q&A session with delegates Stuart noted that the "only debate between political parties is when, rather than whether, public spending cuts will occur".

Stuart spoke about this further in this Vodcast, highlighting that the "key issue is how the sector - civil society in general - demonstrates worth in this very different environment".

The full audio of Stuart's conference speech, along with other plenaries from the event will be available shortly on navcaboodle and our Past Event pages.
