the role of local area agreements (LAAs) in transforming local
services.

New guidance is being developed and consulted on in stages.
Indicators
As part of the process of developing the new guidance, the
Government has published the set of national indicators and is
consulting on the detailed definitions of the indicators. For more

Exisiting DCLG guidance
Current government (DCLG) guidance relates to Round 3 and Refresh
of Rounds 1 and 2 of LAAs (31 March 2006) and replaces all previous
advice notes on LAAs. All other documentation on this website
relates to current LAA rounds and has incorporated information for
Rounds 1, 2 and 3.
