Principles of representation

Principles of representation: A framework for effective third sector participation in Local Strategic Partnerships seeks to set out a series of principles, for the third sector, by which the best of partnership working has succeeded. It is intended as a framework for discussion towards developing good local practice, rather than a 'one size fits all' template.

The stakeholder working group that developed the document was chaired by Neil Cleeveley, NAVCA's Director of Information and Policy.

NVACA has also published a summary of the Principles, subtitled How principled is your partnership?, which includes a wallchart-style checklist of questions to stimulate local discussion.
