Stronger Voices research project

The Improving Local Partnerships Unit, based at NAVCA, has commissioned some research on the skills and development needs of people who are engaged in representing the local third sector on thematic partnerships of Local Strategic Partnerships. Download the one page briefing document. This research is in two parts:

  • A national call out for descriptions of skills and abilities that representatives from the local third sector are using in their roles on thematic partnerships in LSPs. For more information on this part and how to contribute, please download the call out document.
  • Interviewing 24 representatives based in two regions - Yorkshire and the Humber and the North East - to find out what skills they are using and where they might need further support. If your network/organisation is in one of these regions and might like to express an interest in providing two such volunteers, please first email the researcher, Steve Skinner, who will send you further details: steve@steveskinnerassociates.org.uk. Expressions of interest need to be received by 24 January.

Stronger Voices research will help to inform future training and learning programmes. If you would like to know more about the research project, please get in touch:
