In our most recent
Evaluating NAVCA survey, our
members highlighted 'funding' and 'commissioning, procurement and
competitive tendering' as the two biggest challenges facing LIOs in
the next 18 months. NAVCA's Local Commissioning and Procurement
Unit is helping members to address this challenge.
NAVCA's new Local Commissioning and Procurement Unit (LCPU) is
carrying out a
survey to map the involvement of local infrastructure
organisations (LIOs) in the areas of commissioning and procurement.
This will provide us with information on the activities that LIOs
are involved in, where the major gaps are and in which areas they
would like support from the LCPU. This is very important in making
sure we plan our work to best help you.
