Volunteering

The value of volunteering to the rehabilitation of offenders is huge. NAVCA will be working closely with Volunteering England to ensure members are able to access information, advice, guidance and support to recruit former offenders as volunteers and to support organisations to use this group as volunteers.

Volunteering England recognise this and have produced material which can be used.

Clinks Guides

Clinks have produced a series of guides targeted at those who involve volunteers, or provide mentoring and befriending services to offenders and ex-offenders, these guides are designed to support any organisation whether they are established or just setting up. The guides are available to download free of charge.
