My funding has been cut, how have they made this decision?

Your local authority, PCT and funders will know more about this issue and so it will be worthwhile working in partnership with these stakeholders and invite them to attend meetings with the voluntary organisations and community groups you are supporting so they can speak directly to the groups that have been affected by cuts.

If a group you are supporting feels that the decision from a public body has been unfair you could signpost them to the Empowering the Voluntary Sector project. The project, which is a partnership between NAVCA, the Public Law Project and NCVO, can provide training and advice on challenging an unfair decision. The project has produced two useful briefing newsletters on the cuts that may also be of use to groups.
