The Big Lunch is a new
initiative being run by the Eden Project, aimed at bringing
communities together.
The idea is that once a year, on 19 July, as many of the 61 million
people in the UK as possible will simultaneously sit down to lunch
together, with their neighbours, in the middle of their street, as
a simple act of community.
NAVCA hopes that our members (and their members) will get involved,
as it should be a great tool for promoting community cohesion in
neighbourhoods.
