discuss engaging people in local decision making. They discuss the
Take Part programme, addressing the democratic deficit and links
between participative democracy and formal democratic roles. They
also talk about the all party commitment to engaging local people
in decision making and ensuring that it is embedded after the
election and not just political rhetoric.
