From April 2010, providers
that run healthcare or adult social care services must be
registered with the Care Quality Commission. They will only be
registered if they meet essential common standards of safety and
quality.
The Care Quality Commission has produced
guidance that makes clear to providers what they will need to
do to meet these requirements and is seeking views on this draft
guidance.
The deadline for comments is 24 August 2009.
