Department of Health standard community contract

The Department of Health are intending to introduce a new standard contract for community and mental health services by April 2009, including those services delivered by Third Sector providers.

NAVCA's Local Commissioning and Procurement Unit is meeting with the Department of Health to establish channels of communication for the sector. However, it is important that those organisations who receive funding from their Primary Care Trust are aware of the draft contract and the implementation events that are being held regionally throughout November and January.
