NAVCA welcomes the publication
of
Under the radar, a survey of small voluntary and community sector
organisations working with children, young people and families,
by NCVCCO.
The report, which draws on a survey of over 100 small
organisations, highlights the very real problems faced by many
small third sector organisations that work with children, young
people and families. Among the report's key findings are:
- 10 per cent of voluntary and community sector organisations
surveyed are closing or under serious threat of closure
- small organisations believe there is a need for more support
and training around financial management.

grants.
