Lifetime Achievement Award for Kevin Curley

Kevin Curley, Chief Executive of NAVCA, has been awarded the Luke FitzHerbert Lifetime Achievement Award at the prestigious Third Sector Excellence Awards. The award was presented to Kevin in recognition of his 40-year career in the voluntary sector, including his work as Chief Executive of NAVCA.

Receiving the award, Kevin Curley spoke of the need to support local voluntary action. He said, "The intricate tapestry of local voluntary action tells a compelling story, with deep roots in this nation's social development. Like any tapestry, like any story, we must look after it with great care and pass it on to the next generation."
