NAVCA Seeks a New Chair

By November’s AGM, Mike Martin MBE will have served for six years in the role of NAVCA Chair, the maximum permitted under our constitution. Therefore NAVCA is seeking a new Chair. Anyone can be nominated for Chair. They do not have to be part of a member organisation. More information about the process and the role of the Chair can be found on our website. The deadline for applying is 6 August.
Mike Martin MBE, NAVCA's Chair, said, "What a great opportunity to lead a key national charity that is widely respected for its championing of local voluntary action. For me it has been a wonderful learning experience that has enabled me to work with a range of talented and committed people. There's no denying that taking on the job will occasionally add to your stress levels but I can say without hesitation that I have never regretted becoming NAVCA Chair."
