What do networks do?

The purpose of networks is to link together people working in local infrastructure organisations (LIOs) who have a similar role or interest. Support to sub regional and county infrastructure groupings is increasing and NAVCA keeps in touch with LIO network meetings around the country.

NAVCA runs a number of networks, principally by email. They offer a quick, efficient and versatile means of communication between organisations and individuals who share similar interests.

Networks can be used to:

  • exchange ideas, solutions and information
  • provide help and support
  • share the joys and pitfalls of your work
  • share what works and what does not
  • send queries about the work of local infrastructure
  • contribute to national policy affecting LIOs.
