Performance standards and NAVCA Quality Award

NAVCA has developed a set of Performance Standards and an assessment process that can be used to help local support and development organisations to review and improve the effectiveness of their core activity (the NAVCA Quality Award).

Performance Standards

Five Performance Standards (PDF, 556KB) have been developed after consultation with our membership and they cover the five core functions of local infrastructure organisations.

Standard 5 - Strategic Partnership Work
This Standard will no longer be subject to audit.  Many of you have told me that there is much overlap between Standards 4 and 5.  You can of course continue to use the outcomes in Standard 5 as a development tool if you wish.
Standard 5 - Strategic Partnership Work. This Standard will no longer be subject to audit.  Many of you have told us that there is much overlap between Standards 4 and 5.  You can of course continue to use the outcomes in Standard 5 as a development tool if you wish. Feedback on the Standards has been positive in terms of their content, level and the way they are presented. For each of the Standards, there is a statement, a series of outcomes, a set of minimum outputs, and some suggested additional outputs. These are laid out in a way that is designed to be easy to understand and use.
