Throughout England there are local infrastructure organisations
that can help small charities and community groups. These
organisations are often called Council for Voluntary Service (CVS)
or Voluntary Action or Community Action.
These organisations offer support in the following ways:
- Help you set up your organisation and draft your
constitution
- Give advice on raising funds
- Provide training and support on running your organisation
- Help you link with other local charities and organisations
- Tell you about other sources of help
- Represent and empower your organisation
To find your local organisation, please use our
directory.
Please note NAVCA does not provide help directly to small
charities: it is our members that are your source of expert local
support.
