Earlier this year, in response to a report by the
Commission on
Integration and Cohesion, the Government consulted on how it
should support cohesion. The Commission stated that 'single group
funding should be the exception rather than the rule', arguing that
such funding is an impediment to cohesion. This is a view that
NAVCA has always forcefully rejected.
