Published in Oct 2011, this publication contains six case studies of local councils from around the UK. They are from urban, suburban and rural localities and of varying political persuasions. They all show innovative and creative ways of supporting the VCS at this transitional time.

Published in November 2010 jointly by NAVCA and the Office for Civil Society this document highlights examples of local public bodies and the voluntary and community sector successfully working together to manage the impact of public spending cuts. Above is a more recent similar publication.
