We're looking for new trustees

We’re looking for up to two new trustees who understand the importance of local infrastructure and are passionate about strengthening communities and the VCSE organisations that support them. In particular, we’d love to hear from people with experience in volunteering or capacity building – and especially those who aren’t currently CEOs. Please note, this opportunity is open to NAVCA members only.

This is a chance to help shape NAVCA’s strategic direction, contribute to decision-making, and gain valuable experience in sector leadership, charity governance, and how small organisations work.

We’re committed to increasing the diversity of voices on our Board and welcome nominations from people of all ages, backgrounds, and perspectives. If you’ve never been a trustee before, don’t worry – we’ll provide tailored support so you feel confident and able to fully take part. Trustees are appointed for three years, with the option to serve for one more term.

Nominations need to be in by 5pm on Monday 6th October, ahead of a vote at our AGM on Thursday 13th November 2025.
